Ingress Intel
To play Ingress well, you need to see the big picture: Look at the (world) map to see the constantly changing portals, links and fields.
You can use the Intel website for this: https://intel.ingress.com/
You need to log in with your Ingress game account.
These are the things you can see and do with the standard Intel website:
You can use scrollwheel/pinch to zoom in and out and drag to move the map to look around
If you zoom out, you will only see long links (in the bottom right you see a text what will be displayed)
If you zoom in far enough, you will see all links and all portals
You can choose between 2 maps: Google Roadmap (with Terrain overlay) and Google Satellite (with Roadmap overlay)
You can drop Pegman on the map to see Streetview (if the area is supported), but with no game objects visible
You can see a COMM area, with activity for the visible region, you can post messages as well
You can look for Missions in an area, you can also see portals marked where missions will start
You can apply portal Filters, but only if you zoom to portal view level
If you have a CORE subscription, you can also see your Inventory, but only as a simple list of items and counts
You can als submit passcodes
If you select a portal, you can see details like Title, Level, Owner, Resonators and Mods
If you select a portal, you can also start to draw lines to other portals you click on
If you refresh the Intel page, all drawn lines are removed
You can see the Regional Score and view Checkpoint scores
Standard Ingress Intel only works only in a browser. There is nog mobile app.
